A SPAD array for optical communicatios
Below is a demonstration of the SPAD based receiver for optical communications. Realtime audio (BBC Radio 2) is transmitted via an optical link from the ceiling to the desk, and then played on the loudspeakers. An FPGA simultaneously calculates the bit error rate (BER).
